APPRAISALS:

LASSEN INTERNATIONAL, INC. can advise you of the full replacement cost for pieces identical to your LASSEN artwork provided the piece is still available for sale in our current LASSEN Authorized Price Books, but we can only identify your fine art print for you if you will have available when you call: the title of your art; the edition letters and numbers found at the bottom of your art; the IMAGE measurements of the art (not including the frame dimensions) and the medium in which your art was printed, if possible.  You will find most of this information on the print itself and all this information on your original LASSEN invoice.

If it is already sold out (usually within approximately 4 years of its release) and is therefore no longer shown on our price books, we are unable to provide replacement cost information.

However, an appraiser can appropriately value your artwork for any insurance or resale purposes, typically for a fee.

COLLECTORS WANTING TO SELL THEIR ART:

Because we don’t sell Lassen art in any other way than the new art currently selling in our gallery, the secondary market is not a part of our normal retail experience. But we would like to help you the best we can, so here are some ideas that you could consider:

  1. 1. EBay
  2. 2. Consignment at a gallery who carries a variety of artists.
  3. 3. The classified section in several prestigious art magazines.
  4. 4. Call several appraisers and ask them if they have any ideas on how to sell your art.
  5. 5. Auction houses such as Sotheby’s or Christies.
  6. 6. Craig’s List
